In that darkness – healing, wisdom, and the unfolding of the mysteries happens for those who still their minds enough to allow it to enter. The raven is the one who gives gifts but it is also a trickster. The Raven’s gifts are for those who have the sincerity to try to make use of these priceless gifts of light and insight.

He has been identified with Shiva and Dionysios. Cernunnos is the consort of the Goddess of Spring; one of the personalities of the Earth Mother.
